Use the Drink Breakdown below as a general rule of thumb. For most weddings, a 40/35/25 split for wine/spirits/beer is about right, but only you know your people. Tailor your order to your guests (lots of wine drinkers?), the time of year (e.g. more white wine and beer in warm months, red wine and whiskey in cold months), and your plan (cocktail hour and champagne toast?).
In the end just remember, no one complains about free alcohol :)

We used party on delivery for our wedding reception and everything was a breeze from the ordering process, to the delivery, to the pick up!!! We dealt with one of the owners, Brian, who was fun, courteous, prompt and made sure all the details were worked out and that we were taken care of from start to finish. It was nice not to have to worry about running around town in Austin traffic to get all the booze we needed and just to have it show up on time without lifting a finger!!! Party on Delivery seriously came through for providing the alcohol for our large party a few weeks ago. Their liquor kits are awesome and the shakers they provide have measurement markers for how much liquor/mixer to add to make the perfect cocktail. They also delivered a freaking keg, with a tap, a barrel, and Ice. Instead of having to drive to three different stores and borrow a truck to load a keg, I just made one phone call to Party On. Having all of this stuff delivered was so awesome and just took a huge part of the party planning off of my plate so that I could focus on the food, decorations and music.
